Neven Drljević is a European official, since February 2020 the Head of the Software and Cloud Assets Management Service in the Directorate-General for Innovation and Technological Support (DG ITEC) of the European Parliament. Since joining the Parliament's Secretariat over 7 years ago, he has been in charge of the implementation of SAM, from initial market research to having a fully running SAM service. In 2020, with the establishment of the Software and Cloud Assets Management Service, his duties include as well oversight of Cloud compliance and cost management activities in the EP, including negotiation of SaaS agreements and PaaS/IaaS compliance and cost management. He is the Data Protection Correspondent for the Directorate for Infrastructure and Equipment in DG ITEC. He holds an MSc degree in Computing from the University of Zagreb and is currently in the final stages of Ph.D. studies in Computing at the same University.
