I hold various certifications including, Certified Asset Management Professional (CAMP), Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM), Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM), Certified Hardware Asset Professional (CHAMP) and Certified Asset Management Security Expert (CAMSE). My current role provides Software Asset Management(SAM) support by completing due diligence for license entitlement, license metrics and terms and conditions of contracts as it relates to SAM; conducting detailed software inventories on a periodic basis to determine the exact number of software installations and usage, comparing this information with the number of licenses purchased/entitlement, and establishing controls to ensure that proper licensing practices are maintained on an ongoing basis. Reduce software and support costs by providing usage data to assist in negotiating contract agreements and eliminating or reallocating Shelfware. Establish ongoing policies and procedures surrounding the acquisition, documentation, deployment, usage and retirement of software in an effort to recognize long-term benefits of SAM.
